Focus Area:  Leadership
Workshop:  Transformational Leadership

Time:  8 hours
Audience: Leaders of all Levels
Pre-Requisite: Gatehouse Insights Discovery Core Workshop

Objectives:

  • Understand key leadership concepts and how they affect the organization and the leader.
  • Learn different styles of leadership and how they are effective.
  • Learn more about your own leadership style with a custom leadership profile.
  • Learn about other organizations and review case studies on the strategies their leaders took to make them successful.
  • Build your own plans to lead in a more effective and inspiring way.

Workshop Description:  Leadership is an art. Leadership is a science. Leaders are born. Leaders are made.  Leaders lead. Leaders serve.  Great leaders are charismatic and light up a room.  Great leaders merely turn on the lights so that others may see.

We could go on and on listing leadership axioms, idioms and even “tediums”.  But the truth is that there are shreds of truth in all these statements—big shreds, small shreds, some kinds of shreds and what it amounts to as you pull all the shreds apart is that leadership is highly personal.  We lead in different ways and that is how it should be.  But there are things successful leaders know and do that help their organizations outperform others.  We’ll talk about those in this workshop and you’ll build strategies to lead in a more effective and inspiring way and bring your organization or team to its highest levels.
