TRIZ (the Russian acronym for the Theory of Solving Problems Inventively) is a powerful, new problem solving method based on well defined, predictable patterns of how inventors solve problems. Virtually every problem people try to solve has been solved many times before by people in other companies and industries. Many large organizations have adopted TRIZ as a key component in their innovation strategy.

TRIZ can be applied to a wide variety of problems including non-technical problems, predicting future product evolution, finding hidden sources of quality problems, and more. This one, two or three day course will focus on the basics of inventive problem solving.
